Steel structure technology creates the pinnacle masterpiece of Anji Yunshang Grassland Resort
Recently, colleagues from the company went to the Yunshang Grassland High Mountain Tourist Resort in Anji County, Huzhou City, and witnessed firsthand the charm of the "Sky Step" crystal corridor bridge in the Yunshang Grassland constructed by our Zhongnan Steel Structure. They were all amazed by the beauty and wonder of nature, and praised the ingenuity of human wisdom.

The Yunshang Grassland High Mountain Tourist Resort is located in Shanchuan Township, Anji County, 50 kilometers away from the city center of Hangzhou. It can be easily reached within an hour's drive. In the lush mountains, the four characters "Yunshang Grassland" have long been in sight, and the resort is surrounded by lush greenery and misty clouds, like a fairyland. The main body of Anji Yunshang Grassland Resort is located on the Chidouyang plot at an altitude of 1168 meters, including 1500 acres of alpine grassland. Yunshang Grassland is built in three phases, with the first phase already completed and open, consisting of two amusement parks and one ski resort. The Crystal Corridor Bridge, known as the "Stairway to the Sky", is one of the first open projects that can accommodate 300 people to experience a "cloud walk" at the same time. It is the pinnacle masterpiece of the cloud grassland and is deeply loved by tourists.

The "Sky Steps" crystal corridor bridge is constructed by Zhongnan Steel Structure. The project is called the Cloud Grassland Landscape Cable stayed Glass Platform, located at an altitude of 1096 meters on the Xueling Peak of the Cloud Grassland. The structural form is a cantilever cable stayed bridge, which extends 80.8 meters outward from the mountain and is built at a 90 degree angle to the cliff. The bridge deck is arranged in an "A" shape, with a net width of 2.35 meters for each channel, a total width of 2.5 meters, and a total length of 365 meters for all channels. The main body of the steel structure is composed of bridge tower, bridge deck system and stay cables. The bridge tower adopts a steel box girder section with an outer contour of 2.5 * 2.5 meters. The bridge deck system is composed of truss chords, horizontal tie rods, vertical braces, diagonal braces, square steel skeleton and glass bridge deck; The inclined cables are made of GJ15-22 (1860MPa grade ф 15.2mm) epoxy sprayed non bonded steel strands. The upper end is anchored to the top anchor box of the bridge tower, and the lower end is welded to the upper chord of the main truss through cable clamps and anchor plates. The distance between the inclined cables is about 18 meters, with a total of 8 front cables and 2 back cables, firmly fixing the cantilever bridge as a whole. The entire project requires about 700 tons of steel. Due to the construction on cliffs, the difficulty of component entry, construction operations, precise measurement, fire prevention in the forest below during welding, construction safety protection, and various hazards can be imagined. Under the strict management of the project team, all problems have been solved one by one, and all situations have been firmly controlled. The project was successfully completed in August 2020, and after its opening, the scenic area has become the core attraction of the entire resort.

The fully transparent A-shaped suspended glass bridge in Anji Yunshang Grassland High Mountain Tourist Resort is 3.8 times that of the same project in Colorado, USA, with a visual drop of nearly 500 meters. Coupled with the unique cloud sea wonder of the scenic area, the cliff leads directly to the sky, making it particularly thrilling and magnificent. Walking in the dreamy cloud sea of the "Sky Steps" at an altitude of 1168 meters without any support points except for transparent glass, watching the vast abyss and beautiful mountains, one's mind is stirred. Such excitement and shock are unmatched by other projects, and steel structure technology adds infinite charm to the Cloud Grassland Resort.
