Zhongnan Steel Structure carries out emergency rescue training and drills for electric shock accidents


In order to test and improve the emergency rescue ability and level of the company's emergency rescue leading group and all members, firmly establish the safety awareness of safety first and safety production responsibility is more important than Mount Tai, constantly improve the level of safety production management, and in combination with the work of the safety production month this year, the company held the emergency rescue training and drill activities for electric shock accidents in the Dangwan production base on the afternoon of May 28, 2020. The event was led by Chen Jianguo, an expert from Hangzhou Lanlian Technology Co., Ltd., with Li Long, director of the emergency department of Hangzhou Yikang Traditional Chinese Medicine Cancer Hospital, and nurse Wang Junwei responsible for practical operation demonstrations. More than 30 people, including all personnel from the company's quality and safety department, main leaders of the Dangwan production base, mechanical maintenance personnel, and workshop team leaders, participated in the training and drills. Headquarters leaders including Vice General Manager Wang Zaisheng, Vice General Manager Wang Junjie, and Production Director Liu Jihu participated and provided guidance throughout the entire process.


At 14:00 in the afternoon, the emergency rescue training for electric shock accidents was held in the conference room of the Dangwan production base workshop. Firstly, Chen Jianguo, an expert from Hangzhou Lanlian Technology Co., Ltd., explained the knowledge of first aid for electric shock accidents in the workshop. The lecture started with common safety accidents and injuries in the workshop, then explained the first aid knowledge at the scene of workshop accidents, and finally explained the three main contents of on-site first aid methods that need to be taken after workshop accidents. The expert also used MP4 short film cases to explain how to pay attention to precautions and rescue personnel after accidents, making the entire training process vivid and easy to understand. The leaders and members who participated in the training carefully listened to the expert's specialized and technical lectures, and had targeted exchanges with the expert in various aspects after class.


At 14:40 in the afternoon, the second class was taught by Director Li Long and Nurse Wang Junwei from the Emergency Department of Hangzhou Yikang Traditional Chinese Medicine Cancer Hospital, covering emergency rescue methods after an accident. The two main lecturers used dummies to conduct a simple diagnosis of electric shock to personnel at the teaching site. After diagnosing the electrocuted personnel through a simple three-step method of observing their breathing, heartbeat, and pupils, they analyzed and explained the corresponding first aid measures taken from light to heavy after observing the injured. They also demonstrated artificial respiration and chest compressions on site. During the teaching process, the participating leaders and members were also arranged to practice artificial respiration and chest compressions.

At 3:00 pm, all participating leaders and members conducted a scenario demonstration and emergency rescue drill for electric shock accidents in the component polishing area of the sixth span of the production workshop. According to the drill plan, the drill was divided into event reporting, plan activation, rapid response, and post evaluation, and was conducted in groups. After 5 minutes of team and preparation, the demonstration of the electric shock accident scene began. After a real person fell to the ground due to electric shock, each emergency rescue team member carried out rescue according to the teacher's explanation. One person immediately cut off the power, and other team members immediately carried out rescue. By observing the breathing, heartbeat, and pupil condition of the person who was electrocuted, artificial respiration and chest compression were performed. Half an hour later, the rescue drill activity ended. All emergency rescue members followed the rescue steps during the drill and performed artificial respiration and chest compressions as required. The response speed was fast, the rescue process was correct, and the rescue methods were in compliance with regulations. They received praise from the teaching experts and teachers.

After the drill, members of the evaluation team and relevant participants held a summary meeting on site. The meeting conducted an overall evaluation of the entire drill process and participants, and concluded that the drill was successful. After the accident occurred, emergency organizations at all levels were smoothly activated according to procedures, with accurate measures and rapid rescue responses. The drill achieved its expected goals and was a complete success.


Finally, after a brief summary by Vice General Manager Wang Zaisheng, the electric shock emergency rescue training and drill activities came to an end. This training and drill have strong scientific, practical, and operational capabilities. Through this training and drill, the company's emergency rescue leadership team and members have greatly improved their ability to handle accidents properly, enhance their coordination and cooperation in rescue after accidents occur, and further emphasize the importance of safety production among all employees. The first activity of the company's 2020 Safety Production Month was successfully held, and the curtain of the Safety Production Month activity was opened accordingly.
