Recently, the Fujian Success International Convention and Exhibition Center, a new landmark building in Nan'an constructed by Zhejiang Zhongnan Construction Group Steel Structure Co., Ltd., was awarded the 2014-2015 China Construction Engineering Luban Award (National Quality Project). The Fujian Success International Convention and Exhibition Center is an important showcase for Nan'an's industrial development and investment promotion, and will play an important role in enhancing the overall competitiveness of the regional economy.
The Fujian Success International Convention and Exhibition Center is divided into three venues: No.1, No.2, and No.3, with a planned total investment of 425 million yuan and a total construction area of over 66000 square meters. After completion, it can accommodate 1008 international standard booths. Hall 1 is the conference center, capable of hosting large-scale conferences of various scales both domestically and internationally. Halls 2 and 3 are functional exhibition halls, with wings resembling those of a "white egret", vividly and lightly standing on the beautiful Nan'an Xixi Peninsula, as if about to spread their wings and fly high. The roof maintenance system of the exhibition center adopts an aluminum magnesium manganese alloy upright lock edge roof system, and the structure adopts an inverted triangular pipe truss, with a maximum span of 90 meters and a height of 31.93 meters. The lifting difficulty is very high. After multiple scheme studies and expert demonstrations by technical personnel before lifting, the optimal lifting plan was determined, and the first lifting was successfully completed on April 15, 2013.
In the installation of the project, Hall 1 is an engineering body resembling a "white egret", with a steel structure of double circular tube main beam structure, a span of 90 meters, and a maximum weight of over 28 tons per single component. The lifting method uses a 350T crawler crane. Hall 2 adopts two 130T truck cranes for double machine lifting, with a maximum weight of 66.6 tons for a single truss component and a lifting section of 65 meters. Hall 3 has a basement, with a maximum weight of 70 tons per single truss component and a span of 65 meters. It adopts a hydraulic lifting scheme. The north and south sides of Hall 3 have cantilevered trusses with a maximum span of 19.8 meters and a single truss weight of 17 tons, which are lifted by a truck crane. Each lifting operation has been carefully and scientifically arranged by technical personnel, and active preparations have been made before installation, ensuring the smooth completion of the construction work. During the truss assembly period, all welds are strictly welded in accordance with national regulations, and then undergo 100% ultrasonic testing by quality inspection personnel. Only after the weld inspection results are all qualified can the next process of installation be carried out, ensuring the construction quality. During the lifting process, the project leader fully considered the potential safety hazards that may arise during the construction process and promptly took various measures to eliminate them, resulting in no safety accidents during the entire lifting process. The project was successfully completed and received high praise from the project command center. During the installation process of this project, the technical personnel and construction workers fully utilized their collective wisdom. Based on the characteristics of the construction site, they adopted the method of coordinated operation of the suspended basket and aerial vehicle, which improved efficiency, accelerated progress, and successfully completed the project.
The Fujian Success Convention and Exhibition Center is like a white egret spreading its wings and ready to fly, standing tall and elegant on the beautiful southern bank of the Xixi Peninsula, making the Nan'an Xixi Peninsula even more picturesque. As one of the first designated steel structure enterprises by the Ministry of Construction and a key backbone enterprise in Zhejiang Province, Zhongnan Steel Structure has achieved remarkable results in the construction of special-shaped steel structures, heavy-duty steel structures, spatial steel structures and other projects after more than ten years of hard work.
