Zhejiang Zhongnan Construction Group Steel Structure Co., Ltd. and Zhongnan Construction Group successfully won the bid for the China Animation Museum project in December 2014 after fierce competition with a number of industry leaders. The project won the bid cost of 325 million yuan, the total steel consumption of the steel structure is about 12,000 tons, and the total construction period is 600 days.
China Animation Museum is planned to be built into a comprehensive display of China's animation history, focusing on the introduction of world animation powers, highlighting the achievements of Chinese animation, making full use of modern animation technology, personally experiencing the atmosphere of dynamic roaming, and comprehensively appreciating animation culture and art in China, with the richest exhibits, the most authoritative content, the first in China, and the world's first-class animation professional museum.
The China Animation Museum is located in the scenic Baima Lake Scenic Area of Hangzhou. According to the height of different functional spaces inside, the main body of the museum building presents a natural form like "floating clouds", which is beautiful and flowing. At the same time, combined with the "Animation Forest" square on the first floor of the building, it reflects a picturesque artistic conception like the "forest under the clouds" that is naturally integrated with the beautiful landscape environment. In the design process, the designers fully considered the integration of the museum and the natural landscape of Baima Lake Park, the building adopts a centralized layout, and the first floor volume adopts a cantilevered and overhead way, so that the lakeside landscape penetrates into the building, forming a multi-layered, penetrating and blending place space. A series of multimedia display technologies such as intelligent dimming film, three-dimensional hologram, and large-scale animation interactive installation are organically integrated into the indoor and outdoor spaces of the building to create an architectural image with the characteristics of modern animation technology.
The first floor of the main structure of the China Animation Museum is a steel grid cylinder-steel frame-support structure, and the second floor is a steel frame structure. The total construction area is 30,382 square meters. 24,932 square meters above ground and 5,450 square meters underground. The main part of the China Animation Museum is a partial six-story high-rise building, and some ancillary rooms have mezzanines, and the highest point of the overall building is 44.5m. The museum has a basement building with a floor level of -6.000, which contains internal parking and most of the equipment rooms.
In this steel structure project, many new technologies and new processes are adopted in the design, such as the use of multiple diamond-shaped steel grid cylinders of different diameters as the load-bearing cylinder column of the main structure, buckling constraint support system, buckling constraint energy-dissipating steel plate wall, and TMD damper; Intelligent dimming film, 3D hologram, etc. And more unconventional design processes, such as beam columns, vertical trusses, large-section arc beams, large cast steel nodes, laminated rubber isolation supports, etc. The use of steel is multi-type materials, multi-type specifications, multi-type plate thicknesses, such as Q235B, Q345B, Q345C, Q420C, Q345GJ-C, Q420GJ-C, Q420GJZ-C (Z15 grade), Q420GJZ-C (Z25 grade), cast steel material, 40Cr, etc., as many as 20 kinds of section steel specification section, more than 15 kinds of plate thickness specifications, the maximum diameter of steel pipe specifications of 1200mm, the thickest plate thickness of 60mm.
As a professional steel structure construction unit, Zhongnan Steel Structure will undertake the main steel structure manufacturing and installation in this project, and since winning the bid, Zhongnan Steel Structure has been carrying out various projects intensively
