Zhongnan Steel Structure stands outside the country's borders - a report on the steel structure project of Venezuela's largest bus factory

Date:2016/5/9 11:33:46 Popularity:130

Recently, the steel structure project of Venezuela's largest bus factory, constructed by our Zhongnan Steel Structure, has entered a tense construction phase. The project is located in San Felipe, Araqui State, Venezuela. It is a bus factory jointly invested by the Venezuelan Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Transport, and Hong Kong Yutong Limited. The total construction unit of the project is the Pilperca Group of Venezuela, with an investment of 560 million US dollars. The total land area of the factory is 316000 square meters, and the construction area is 98600 square meters. The annual production capacity of passenger cars is 12000 vehicles.

This project is not only large in scale, but also a multi span portal structure with complex forms. Among them, the maximum span is 11 spans, the maximum span is 28 meters, the longest axis is 286 meters, the maximum opening of the axis is 16 meters, the height of the structural eaves is 21.35 meters, and the total steel consumption of the steel structure project is 6409 tons. At the same time, the project is divided into multiple sub departments such as chassis workshop, chassis debugging workshop, chassis components, welding workshop, painting workshop, and final assembly workshop, which increases the difficulty of construction.

In response to the characteristics and difficulties of the project, the relevant departments of the company have carefully discussed and analyzed, and formulated a reasonable solution, which is to adopt the form of steel frame structure in the construction of the project. This structure has the advantages of fast construction speed, high degree of industrialization, short construction period, less environmental pollution, and economic rationality, while also increasing the reliability and feasibility of the connecting nodes of the members. In addition, due to the large column spacing and span in the steel frame structure, it has good constructability and the ability to re divide the building space during its service life. If necessary, the entire complex form can be decomposed into multiple independent parts to achieve independent processing, manufacturing, installation, and integration into a complete structural system.

In addition to complex construction techniques, there are also various unfavorable factors in the construction of overseas steel structure projects, such as long distances, inconvenient entry and exit, different technical standards, difficulty in rechecking incoming components, different testing methods, and difficulty in personnel deployment. In the face of complex foreign environments, the company conducts feasibility analysis and risk assessment of project implementation in advance, analyzes project characteristics, clarifies project management concepts, establishes project completion goals, and effectively ensures the smooth progress of the project.

In addition, the cutting and processing of overseas projects also need to be particularly rigorous. The length dimensions of component processing should be controlled within the range required by the shipping department, and should not be cut or purchased arbitrarily to avoid transportation risks. If there are errors in drawing refinement or component processing, it will affect the construction period of the sub item, and in severe cases, the entire production line. At the same time, it will cause huge economic losses and serious social impacts. Therefore, before the start of the project processing, the company organized relevant personnel to conduct drawing review and technical disclosure on drawing refinement, component processing, component labeling, component packaging and boxing, component shipment quantity statistics, on-site installation, etc; Strictly follow the drawings for material procurement, and appropriately increase the quantity of components to prevent material shortages caused by uncertain factors such as missing items in the component list, missing goods, and construction damage.

The person in charge of the Venezuelan steel structure project stated that the project team will overcome difficulties, deliver a "perfect answer sheet" with quality and quantity guaranteed, and showcase the strength and charm of Chinese brands to the world.

At present, the project is in full swing and is expected to be completed in October 2015. After completion, it will become the largest bus factory in Venezuela.
