On July 2, Zhongnan Group held work conference for 2016 internal magazine, for recognizing the advanced employees, exchanging experience and promoting propaganda work to a new level. The conference was attended by almost 40 acquisitioning and cataloguing personnel of the Group’s internal magazine and correspondents of various subsidiary companies. The conference was presided by Gao Hui, the editor in chief of Zhongnan News and attended by leaders like Zhou Xiaojin, Vice Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Wu Xiangrong, the Chairman of the Labor Union.
Firstly, the propaganda work of the Group in 2015 was summarized. Over the past year, under correct leadership, care and support of Wu Jianrong, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Group’s Editorial Department has focused on production, operation and cultural development of the company, carefully and successfully completed various propaganda tasks established at the beginning of the year, formed the propaganda position of “one newspaper, one magazine, one network and one slogan” and achieved big progress in aspects like shaping the corporate image, enriching employees’ life and promoting corporate development. All acquisitioning and cataloguing personnel timely mastered the first-hand information through lots of interviews, visits and writing and active interaction with correspondents of various industry companies. In this way, they reflected field management and production as well as project construction truly and rapidly, enriched content of information and increased readability of the internal magazine.
Meanwhile, the Group achieved good results in propaganda work. In 2015, the Editorial Department contributed almost 200 articles to China Construction News, Construction Times, Hangzhou Daily, Zhejiang Construction Industry, Hangzhou Construction Industry, sub-district broadcasting stations and other media, over 90% of articles were accepted and many articles won the prize of good news by Hangzhou Enterprise Newspaper. Zhongnan News has also been rated as “Hangzhou Excellent Enterprise Newspaper” for 10 consecutive years.
Zhou Xiaojin, the Vice Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, fully recognized the results achieved for the Group’s propaganda work over the past year and also expressed his heartfelt thanks to the efforts made by the majority of correspondents. Targeting at how to further enhance news reporting and propaganda work of the Group, he proposed four requirements: Firstly, we need to see clearly the situation, focus on production, management and central task of the enterprise, serve the overall interests and intensify propaganda by focusing on corporate development; we have to make efforts to adapt ourselves to the characteristics of propaganda work under the new situation, make propaganda varied in form and rich in content and constantly improve speed, extent and depth of corporate propaganda work. Secondly, we need to enhance responsibility, fully recognize the importance of news propaganda work under the new situation and intensify sense of responsibility and sense of mission; we shall have innovative thinking, keep pace with the times, deepen significant theme mining and accentuate the highlights so that the corporate news propaganda work will be more attractive. Thirdly, we will stress practical results and report corporate news in such language and way that is pleasant to all. Fourthly, we need to improve abilities, enhance political perspicacity, go deep into reality, close to life, cultivate writing inspiration, improve professional skills and contribute more and better works. We need to be good at detecting highlights, hot topics and key subjects in life and work and constantly improve literary accomplishment and writing ability to become all-around talents demanded by the company.
The conference also recognized five “active correspondents” including Wei Jinyao and Wu Xiaojia. Secretary Zhou hoped that the correspondents recognized would guard against arrogance, make persistent efforts and achieve good results in the future work.
