The AWS American Standard Welding Examination aims to comprehensively enhance the professional skills of the company's welding team and lay a solid technical foundation for the company to undertake overseas business. The exam will be held at the company's production base from October 10th to 11th, 2025. The company has organized 25 elite welders to participate, and the entire process will be supervised and executed by Shanghai Fengbiao Information Technology Service Co., Ltd. This exam strictly follows the American standard specifications, mainly assessing two welding positions: vertical welding and horizontal welding, involving submerged arc welding and gas shielded welding methods, to test the welder's operational ability and skill level in complex processes.
To ensure the fairness, impartiality, and authority of the examination, the company closely cooperates with the supervisory and auditing units, and has made sufficient preparations for every aspect from the formulation of the examination plan, examination room layout, equipment debugging, to the arrangement of invigilators. The invigilator strictly follows the American standard and supervises each welder's practical operation. VT and UT tests are conducted on each welding specimen from the appearance and internal quality of the weld seam, and the skill level of each welder is strictly inspected. After layers of checks, strict assessments, and evaluations, all participating welders' welding skills have met the qualification standards and successfully passed the practical assessment.
