On July 30th, after a month of continuous day and night efforts, the last main stage roof steel truss floor slab of the Beijing Song and Dance Theater project steel structure project was laid, and the main structure construction and installation of the steel structure project undertaken by Zhongnan Green Construction were successfully completed.
The Beijing Song and Dance Theater is located in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was newly built on the original site, with a total construction area of 25020 square meters and a building height of about 30 meters. It has 4 floors above and below ground, with a ground construction area of 10420 square meters and an underground construction area of 14600 square meters. The project includes a 1100 seat professional music and dance medium-sized theater, a 410 seat comprehensive small theater, 5 rehearsal halls, parking lots, and related supporting buildings. The company undertook the steel structure engineering of the project. The project process is complex, consisting of a combination structure of a complex cantilever+hanging structure system and a reinforced concrete shear wall structure. It has the characteristics and difficulties of large-span, large space, staggered stacking of ultra-high concrete shear walls (without floor slabs) and complex steel structure interlaced construction. It belongs to a super hazardous project with great construction difficulty, which brings huge challenges to construction management and safety control.
With strong support from various departments of the company and the hard work of all construction management and installation personnel, after 20 days of hard work, the main steel structure of the 1100 medium-sized theater audience hall, which is the most difficult and challenging construction task in the project, was successfully topped out. The audience hall is a roof steel truss, consisting of 7 main truss beams and secondary beams, with a total length of 39.6 meters for each main truss beam, a highest truss section of 3.6 meters, and a weight of about 40 tons; The highest structural point of the main stage roof, which was topped out at the end of July, has an elevation of 29.2 meters. It consists of 7 steel beams with a span of 18 meters, a height of 1.7 meters, and a maximum weight of 15.6 tons per beam, as well as a double-layer suspended stage equipment grille layer. Each steel truss of the main structure of the project is installed by on-site assembly, segmented lifting and docking. The company's project management and installation personnel fully utilize their technical advantages and long-term accumulated construction experience to overcome various challenges, successfully solve problems, and successfully complete the construction task of the main structure.
