Recently, the Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Whiskey Project undertaken by Zhongnan Green Construction has successfully completed the construction and installation of the steel structure main body, entering the construction sprint stage of the roof and enclosure system, and striving to complete the steel structure construction task by the end of July.

The Qiandao Lake Whiskey Project is located next to the Qiandao Lake Bay in Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, surrounded by green mountains and clear waters. The project is invested and constructed by the well-known British liquor company OGC Dandy Group, leveraging the abundant high-quality natural water sources in Chun'an County and the unique climate environment suitable for fine wine brewing, to create a high-end project that integrates production, tasting, and visiting, known as the "Best Whiskey Production Area in China". The total construction area of the project is approximately 22360 square meters, with steel structure units such as distillation workshop, fermentation workshop, comprehensive factory building, Class D equipment station, and transportation corridor. The main units adopt a structural form of steel frame+single-layer grid shell roof. The highest height of the building is 21.3 meters, the maximum span of the workshop is 20.52 meters, and some areas have 2 floors.
The project was designed and constructed in full accordance with foreign project management requirements. Since the commencement of the steel structure project in June 2024, the company's project team has strictly followed the owner's construction plan and the progress requirements proposed at any time, carried out meticulous construction, and ensured that the project quality meets various standards. Overcoming various inconveniences caused by the special geographical environment of being surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on one side during project construction, and overcoming various seasonal factors such as continuous high temperature, rainy season, and cold winter, all construction tasks were completed with quality and quantity guaranteed.
In communication and progress reporting with the construction unit, the project management team successfully solved language communication problems using AI translation and Baidu translation, and thus successfully presented drawings and documents in both Chinese and English, reported construction progress via email, and held video conferences using Zoom. The project management team took various effective measures to ensure smooth communication in all aspects, and the project construction work proceeded smoothly according to plan, earning high trust and praise from the construction unit.
The steel structure project undertaken by Zhongnan Green Construction has entered the countdown sprint stage for the roof and enclosure system, and will be fully completed in July this year.
