Recently, the steel structure of the Binhe Digital Industrial Park project undertaken by Zhongnan Green Construction has completed all lifting operations as planned, creating favorable conditions for the smooth progress of the project construction work.

The industrial park is located in the Qiantang River International Innovation Belt, the core area of Qianjiang Century City in Hangzhou. It covers an area of about 27000 square meters and has a total construction area of about 162500 square meters, including an above ground construction area of about 67000 square meters and an underground construction area of about 95500 square meters. The project includes landscape bridges, cultural and creative theme halls, pet biology halls, digital art halls, and small theaters. The company has undertaken a total of 5 steel structure landscape bridges and all steel structure projects for 12 commercial units. The steel structure project will commence construction in April 2023, and the main lifting task of the steel structure will be completed in November 2024. Currently, it is entering the final stage of painting operations.

The shapes of the five steel structure landscape bridges are different. The upper part adopts a 1.2-meter-high steel box girder main structure, and the lower part adopts V-shaped steel piers or single column steel columns+V-shaped steel piers. The bridge deck width is 3 to 4 meters, the length ranges from 65.15 to 94.66 meters, and the maximum span is 93.6 meters. In bridge construction, the curved and irregular steel box girder body and complex geological environment increase the difficulty of construction and installation. Based on the characteristics of the project and the actual situation on site, the company divides the steel box girder into multiple independent units for production and manufacturing at the production base according to transportation capacity, bridge deck shape, etc., and then transports them to the project site for hoisting in order according to the construction progress. The construction personnel carry out the construction in sequence on muddy roads and in the fluctuation of river water, leveraging the technical and strength advantages of steel structure bridge construction to ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of bridge construction.
12 commercial units are symmetrically located on both sides of the river, with concrete and steel reinforced structures at the bottom and steel roof and curtain wall keel shell structures at the top. The maximum span is about 55 meters, with 6 roof shells installed at a height exceeding 23 meters. In the construction of the project, the project department successfully overcame the technical difficulties brought by the irregular structures designed with the theme element of "ripples and water waves" for each individual unit, overcame the assembly difficulties of more than 10000 steel components on limited sites, overcame the impact of complex cross operations by various construction parties, overcame the precise difficulty of joint hoisting of roof shell blocks, and the pressure of a large number of high-altitude welding operations after joint. With long-term accumulated construction experience and comprehensive strength, careful arrangement and reasonable division of labor, the construction progress of each individual unit was smoothly promoted according to the plan.
In the implementation of the project, the production base strictly followed the drawings for cutting and processing, and carried out quality control throughout the process. Some units were pre assembled and inspected, effectively solving the difficulty of processing various irregular and curved steel components, and all met the design accuracy requirements, ensuring the accuracy and high quality of on-site lifting and splicing.
Through the meticulous efforts of all construction management and operation personnel on the project site, the steel structures of the bridges and commercial units constructed by the company have successfully completed each stage of construction tasks according to plan and requirements. A novel and fashionable modern industrial park has gradually taken shape, and a waterfront connected digital industrial park will soon be presented in Qianjiang Century City, Hangzhou, helping the rapid development of Hangzhou's digital industry and becoming a new popular check-in spot and spiritual and cultural consumption destination in Hangzhou.
