In early June, with the successful completion of full load trial operation of Unit 1, the Sichuan Investment Ziyang Gas Power Station project, in which Zhongnan Green Construction participated, was officially put into use. Unit 1 was connected to the grid for the first time and completed a 168 hour trial operation in just 21 days, setting a record for the fastest start-up and commissioning of H-class gas turbines in the country. The Chuantou Ziyang Gas Power Station is located in Yongshun Town, Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is a key construction project in the "14th Five Year Plan" for energy development in Sichuan Province and the first H-class gas power station to be put into operation in the southwest region. The company has undertaken the steel structure engineering of the entire plant area of the project, with a total construction area of about 100000 square meters. All structural forms include steel frame, welded ball grid, and comprehensive pipe gallery support. The main plant building has a construction area of about 21000 square meters, a building height of 42 meters, and a maximum span of 64 meters; The supporting facilities have a factory area of approximately 79000 square meters. The steel structure project started in May 2023 and passed the completion acceptance smoothly in May 2024.
In engineering construction, project management and various construction teams face pressure such as tight schedules and heavy tasks. They strictly formulate weekly and monthly task completion plans, implement them in advance to each team, and deploy them carefully. A dedicated person controls and completes the daily workload according to the plan; During the construction process, the construction unit made multiple design changes and had to rearrange material procurement and production processing. Despite the delay of nearly a month in the arrival of components at the site compared to the original planned milestones, the construction plan was quickly adjusted to increase on-site management, installation personnel, and construction machinery. Measures such as working overtime during holidays and at night were taken to speed up the work. In just one month, the installation of approximately 7000 square meters of welded ball grid structure and the closure of the entire roof system were completed, and the construction tasks of the main factory building and its supporting facilities were fully completed according to the original goals.

The project will construct two sets of 700 MW H-class gas steam combined cycle units, which are currently the most advanced 9H type high-efficiency gas turbines in the world. Unit 2 will start generating electricity in late September. After the project is fully put into operation, the total power generation will reach 3.5 billion kilowatt hours, becoming the backbone peak shaving power source of Sichuan power grid. It has a positive significance for optimizing the energy structure of Sichuan Province and improving the reliability of power grid supply, while providing reliable electrical energy support for the construction of the Chengdu Chongqing economic circle.
