Recently, the main body of the Bingxi River steel structure pedestrian bridge in Yushan County, constructed by Zhongnan Green Construction, has been fully completed. The steel structure bridge that enters the bridge deck decoration is like a dazzling rainbow, with a bridge flying north and south, and a natural barrier painted on the road.

The bridge project is an important livelihood project in Yushan County, which will start construction in December 2023. The bridge spans across the Bingxi River in the southern part of Yushan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, connecting the landscape belts and parks on both sides, greatly enhancing the overall image and style of the area, and promoting the integrated development of commercial districts on the north and south banks of the area. The Bingxi River Bridge is a single span, 1-meter-high irregular steel box girder structure arch bridge with a length of 120 meters, a bridge deck width of 6-8 meters, and a maximum arch height of 10.18 meters. According to the terrain and road elevation on both sides, the longitudinal slope of the south bank bridge deck is 14.6%, and the longitudinal slope of the north bank bridge deck is 7.3%. The center is connected by a circular curve with a radius of 250 meters.

In the implementation of the project, the construction management team leveraged their years of experience in river surface construction. Based on the terrain of the bridge site and the turbulent construction environment of the river after rain and snow, as well as the lifting and bearing capacity of a single steel box girder with a maximum length of 22 meters and a weight of about 19.6 tons, steel pipes were used to build pile foundations. Then, a flat steel plate bridge that runs through the entire river channel was constructed as an auxiliary bridge. Trucks were used to transport equipment and steel components on the auxiliary bridge, and truck cranes with a lifting weight of 25-100 tons were used to lift the equipment and steel components from the auxiliary bridge to the operating position in sequence, ensuring stability during lifting and ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient construction operations. Due to the construction of important nodes coinciding with the rainy and snowy winter season, in order to complete the construction tasks in a timely manner, the construction management team and all workers cherish every sunny day and give up the opportunity to go home and reunite during the Spring Festival period. They work overtime to lift, weld, polish, paint, and complete every inspection and testing at any time, achieving the planned completion of the steel structure bridge main project.
