This project is located in Baoshan District, Shanghai. It is the first planned and constructed harmless treatment project for household waste in Shanghai after implementing garbage classification. The total investment is 3.041 billion yuan and the total construction area is over 161300 square meters. It is currently one of the highest standard waste incineration power generation construction projects in the world. The project adopts a large roof steel truss structure, and an aerial landscape garden will be built on the roof, highlighting the theme park concept of "Baoshan has mountains".

This project has multiple individual projects, including wave walls, chimney tails, tea house landscape platforms, and oversized peripherals. The largest single unit is an integrated plant for dry waste incineration and wet waste disposal, with a structural form of pipe truss structure. The vertical length of the truss can reach up to 41.75 meters, and it is lifted by double machine lifting. The peripheral facade steel truss structure system is in the form of a spatial vertical double support truss, with a highest point height of 49.4 meters. The upper node is located at the lower chord position of the large roof edge truss, and the maximum length of the component is about 40 meters. During lifting, a double machine lifting method is used for feeding and installation.

The wave wall is located at the edge of the large roof, and it needs to be lifted to a height of 40 meters by a car crane, segmented truss, etc. The project department has taken measures to protect the roof structure in advance. After strict calculation, the roof structure is subjected to a steel beam conversion method to evenly distribute the weight of the crane on the main structure of the roof, ensuring that structural cracks and other abnormalities do not occur on the roof, thus achieving smooth lifting.

During the implementation of the project, the company formulated a scientifically reasonable construction plan, organized experienced and technically strong construction teams, and used scientific methods such as BIM information modeling throughout the process to ensure the orderly progress of each individual construction. The company successfully overcame technical difficulties such as complex project structure, difficult assembly of circular pipe components, and high welding quality standards, and successfully completed the construction and installation of each individual. The project management team also successfully overcame various difficulties caused by the epidemic in risk control, personnel organization, and material allocation, leading all construction workers to complete the construction tasks. All participating personnel shall maintain a serious and responsible work attitude, and effectively carry out various construction and production work.

As of now, the construction of the main structure of the project has been successfully completed, and the project has entered the final stage. All subsequent work is being carried out in an orderly manner. The completion of the project is of great significance in improving the level of harmless treatment and resource utilization of garbage in Shanghai, and ensuring the goal of zero landfill of primary household waste in Shanghai.
