Recently, the steel box girder bridge section of the B ramp of the Geshan Bridge Jiangbin North Street Geshan Road Interchange project, undertaken by Zhongnan Green Construction Group, has successfully completed its production and manufacturing tasks and has now entered the on-site construction stage.

The project is located in Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province, spanning the Dongyang River. The ramp contracted by the company consists of 12 steel box girder bridge sections, 20 cantilever units, and cushion blocks. The steel box girder bridge section unit is 2 meters high, with a maximum length of 23 meters, a maximum width of 3.7 meters, and a maximum weight of approximately 56 tons. The bridge segment is produced and processed at the company's Fuyang production base using a multi-stage layout and assembly line operation method. The production team utilizes a series of flexible and convenient processing operations such as assembly, welding, and polishing to leverage the various advantages of producing large bridge components on outdoor bridge production sites, greatly improving production and processing efficiency.

The box girder panels, bottom plates, partitions, and stiffeners of each section of the Geshan Bridge consist of approximately 240 pieces, with a large number of panels. In the production and manufacturing process, the work team adopts the method of first laying the top plate on the tire frame as the bottom surface for reverse tire production. Through a series of production processes such as top plate splicing, T-shaped rib positioning welding, and partition positioning, the production team carries out flow operations step by step. At the same time, in order to minimize the impact of welding deformation on the dimensions of the components, a symmetrical welding sequence from the middle to both sides is adopted when splicing the bottom and top plates. After each process is completed, strict quality inspection is required to ensure the processing quality of each section of box girder.

The construction of the box girder bridge section of the Geshan Bridge is another large-scale bridge component production task successfully completed by the company, following many bridge projects such as the Liuxihe Bridge on Guangzhou Airport Avenue, the Chongxian Laoyuhang Connection Line in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, and the Xuanhang Railway Interchange Bridge, and the Shaoxing Smart Expressway Bridge. Due to the tight production schedule, the production team made careful arrangements and deployments based on the production plan, providing strong support for the timely completion of production tasks.

The timely completion of the processing task of this project has created favorable conditions for the smooth construction of the Geshan Bridge.
