Recently, the 3000 ton steel truss roof of the Jiangyin Xinqiao Cultural and Sports Center project, undertaken by Zhongnan Green Construction Group, was successfully lifted and installed in place. With this, the steel structure project of the project has been successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the smooth completion of the main body of the cultural center.

The Xinqiao Cultural and Sports Center project is located in Xinqiao Town, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. It is a key planned and constructed project in Jiangyin City, with a total construction area of approximately 107000 square meters. The overall structural plan is elliptical, with a concrete frame structure at the bottom and a steel roof structure at the top. The steel roof structure is a two-way planar truss structure with a planar dimension of 155.4 meters long and 113.6 meters wide. The maximum span of the truss is 113.6 meters, and the height of the truss is about 8 meters. The overall weight is 3000 tons, which belongs to the super span spatial structure. In response to the limitations of high installation height, large span, and large area, as well as structural form and site conditions, the company conducted comprehensive comparative analysis from various factors such as safety, quality, and construction period, and finally chose hydraulic synchronous lifting technology for construction, setting up 18 hydraulic lifts with a maximum lifting height of 36.8 meters. The project officially started construction in October 2022. During the implementation process, professional analysis software was used to verify and review the floor bearing capacity and truss lifting scheme. Real time monitoring of component stress and strain was carried out on site to ensure the smooth implementation and safety controllability of the project.

On March 5th, the overall trial lifting of the roof was carried out as scheduled. The equipment operation team conducted a comprehensive review of the lifting equipment in turn. With the order of the on-site commander, the overall roof began the trial lifting. During the lifting process, each measurement team conducted real-time inspections of the lifting points and each mid span control point to ensure that the roof was consistent, safe, and stable as a whole. When the overall height was raised by 0.2 meters, a 24-hour hovering test was implemented. After 24 hours of hovering and testing at various time periods, all data and equipment status meet the requirements and meet the formal promotion conditions. On March 6th, the overall improvement officially began. Under the close monitoring and inspection of technical personnel and team leaders, the roof steadily and synchronously rose. After 10 hours of cooperation, the overall roof was successfully lifted into place and the project was successfully completed.
