On February 28th, Zhongnan Green Building Group and Nanjing University of Technology jointly held a postdoctoral mid-term assessment meeting. Dr. Xu Youwu gave a postdoctoral project mid-term report (online) and successfully completed the mid-term assessment.
The assessment team is composed of Professor Song Linhui (online) and Associate Professor Jiao Yanmei (online) from Nanjing University of Technology, as well as five experts including Chief Engineer Guo Lixiang, Deputy General Manager Wang Zaisheng, and Technical Consultant Zhao Diansheng. Chen Shumin, the head of the Talent Development Department of Fuyang District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Dr. Xu Youwu presented a mid-term project report on the axial compression performance of multi cavity steel-concrete columns reinforced with steel hoops, elaborating on the research background and significance, research content, methods, and progress of the project. Currently, preliminary finite element analysis and related experimental design work have been completed.
After discussion by the assessment team, Dr. Xu Youwu's work and research direction since entering the station were recognized. It was unanimously agreed that Dr. Xu Youwu passed the mid-term assessment and proposed to further improve the research technology route, accelerate the research progress, and complete the research work on schedule. Director Chen Shumin of the Fuyang District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau affirmed Dr. Xu Youwu's research content and hoped that Dr. Xu Youwu could successfully complete the final report during the station period.
The successful convening of the mid-term assessment meeting for postdoctoral fellows has effectively promoted the company's technological innovation process and facilitated the deep integration of industry, academia, and research.
