The technology achievement of "waveform steel plate composite structure system" jointly developed by Zhongnan Steel Structure and Tsinghua University has been widely applied in prefabricated buildings such as residential and office buildings in major cities across the country. In December 2020, the six scientific and technological achievements developed by Zhongnan Steel Structure, including the research and application of the main body and maintenance construction technology of gradually changing transverse span curved steel mesh shell structure, were identified by the expert committee as leading domestic products. These six scientific and technological achievements have applied for a total of 16 patents, including 4 invention patents and 12 utility model patents. In December 2020, the technical achievement of "Key Technologies and Applications for Design and Construction of Double sided Diagonal Space Grid Tube Structure" won the third prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Construction Science and Technology Award, and 17 technical personnel participating in the research were also commended;
In May 2021, the technical achievement of "Research on Construction Technology of Large Span Crescent Flexible Cable Membrane Structure" won the first prize of Science and Technology of China Building Metal Structure Association, and 14 R&D personnel were commended;
In June 2021, the patent of "an automatic packing method for steel structure workshop" won the Excellence Award of the 12th China Patent Award jointly issued by the China National Intellectual Property Administration of China and the World Intellectual Property Organization;
