On October 28, 2021, Professor Guo Yanlin from Tsinghua University and Professor Tong Jingzhong from Zhejiang University visited Zhongnan Steel Structure for in-depth exchanges on new technological cooperation and research and development projects in the field of prefabricated construction.

Previously, Zhongnan Steel Structure had maintained deep cooperation with Professor Guo Yanlin's team at Tsinghua University, successfully jointly developing the domestically advanced and internationally leading "corrugated steel plate composite structure system" technology achievement. Currently, this technology achievement has been implemented and applied in many prefabricated building projects, and has been highly recognized by relevant government departments and industry colleagues. Due to the many advantages of this technology achievement, it has created good social and economic benefits. This time, Zhongnan Steel Structure also had full exchanges with Professor Tong Jingzhong's team from Zhejiang University, and conducted comprehensive consultations and deployments on future cooperation. Through this exchange, we will further enhance the strong cooperation between Zhongnan Steel Structure and well-known universities in China, and continuously deepen the joint exploration and in-depth research of new technologies in the field of architecture between Zhongnan Steel Structure and well-known universities.

In recent years, against the backdrop of promoting green development in urban and rural construction, vigorously developing prefabricated buildings, and focusing on the construction of steel structure prefabricated residential buildings, Zhongnan Steel Structure has kept pace with the times, actively responded to national policies, continuously increased research and investment in steel structure prefabricated buildings, strengthened the deep integration of "industry, academia, and research" with universities, and achieved fruitful results. Now, Zhongnan Steel Structure has once again formed a strong alliance with Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University to form a research and development team for steel structure prefabricated buildings, working together towards a broader and more advanced technological frontier.
During this technical exchange meeting, Professor Guo Yanlin's team and Professor Tong Jingzhong's team gave wonderful presentations on their collaborative research and development projects. Li Zhi'an, the Chief Engineer of Zhongnan Steel Structure Technology, Professor Zhao Diansheng, the Technical Consultant, and Zhang Ke, the Deputy Chief Engineer and Dean of the Design Institute, led the technical team to have full exchanges and discussions with Professor Guo Yanlin and Professor Tong Jingzhong's team on related research and development projects. All parties are confident in their joint cooperation and have high expectations for the results of the collaboration.
