The Fengfengling Bridge Wind and Rain Tower project in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province is located in the northern part of Liuzhou City, spanning the Liujiang River. It is the main expressway connecting Liubei District, Hedong New District, and Liudong New District in an east-west direction. It is the first dual-use public rail bridge in Liuzhou City, and the bridge's highly ethnic appearance will also become a new urban landscape card of Liuzhou. The design scheme of the main bridge of the bridge is a wind and rain bridge type, with tower towers set at the top positions of the five central piers that are consistent with the shape of the wind and rain bridge, and connected by pavilions between the tower towers; The tower and pavilion are both made of steel structure, the corridor bridge adopts a steel structure three-dimensional truss structure system, and the ancillary corridor adopts a steel frame structure system. The tower on the bridge pier adopts a single tower layout, with a four story square shaped pavilion with a height of nearly 35 meters, a seven story hexagonal pavilion with a height of nearly 44 meters, an octagonal pavilion with a height of nearly 50 meters, and a gallery pavilion with a maximum height of nearly 11 meters.
The steel components of these towers and pavilions are all produced and manufactured by Zhongnan Steel Structure, including box columns, circular tube columns, single curved square tube beams, double curved square tube beams, truss beams, etc. The total steel quantity is about 4000 tons. Due to the retro design of the Wind and Rain Tower, its structure is extremely complex, and the production of various irregular components is quite difficult. In order to facilitate the smooth construction of the project, BIM technology is used for detailed design and management. Production operations are strictly arranged according to the construction plan, and the on-site construction progress is tracked in real time. Overtime work is put into production to timely complete the manufacturing and production of steel components for each construction stage of the tower and pavilion. Components are shipped to the site day and night to ensure that various component needs of the construction site are met, providing strong support for the smooth implementation of the project.

The main bridge section of Fenghuangling Bridge is a combination of highway and rail transit, with two-way 6-lane motor vehicle lanes on both sides and reserved space for future urban rail transit in the middle. A single bridge tower is equipped with steel columns between the motor vehicle lane and the non motor vehicle lane, which are connected to the bridge deck; The Wind and Rain Tower has various shapes, which are organically connected through corridors and pavilions, ultimately presenting a unique style of traditional Dong architecture, integrating ethnic characteristics and a sense of the times. Both the Wind and Rain Tower and the Corridor Pavilion adopt a steel structure and wooden structure antique building model, which is the largest in the country.

At present, the bridge deck and the main body of the Wind and Rain Pavilion have been completed and are about to enter the construction of asphalt pavement on the bridge deck and the roof of the Wind and Rain Pavilion. After the completion of the bridge, it will be like a necklace adorning the Liujiang River and become the world's largest and largest cross river Wind and Rain Tower Bridge.
